How does my app get the necessary review for listing?

Hi I have my app keys but it is not yet listed and has not been reviewed.

If someone tries to install app it says 'app needs to be reviewed' - so how does shopify reviewer test and install it?

You will need to submit your app for review by Shopify. See

Hi thanks for the reply but it doesn't fully answer my question.

So currently the app cannot be installed as it's not listed.

So - how does a Shopify reviewer install it? Also to test full functionality it needs to be on a paid store not just a development store.

If you submit your app for review , Shopify reviewer will be able to install it. You don't need to do anything additionally.
As far as testing is concerned until your app is listed on app store, you can install it on development store only.

Thanks for this. Our app requires customer to set up a custom payment method then use a script in additional scripts. Is that permissible?
