How does switching to a multi vendor marketplace affect the customer interface?

Hey All - I am at the point where I need to transition from my ecommerce single store on shopify to a multi vendor marketplace.  I am considering the "Multi Vendor Marketplace" 3rd party app that works with shopify (made by company out of India, it won't let me say the name here).  If I switch over I am not clear exactly how or if the front end for the customers changes exactly.  Anyone know?  Their youtube videos don't really show this.  Of course, seller profiles get added (somehow) which makes sense but other than that, does my theme change or ?  

In addition, if anyone has BETTER ideas to get onto a whitelabeled multi vendor/seller marketplace, please let me know!!
