How does the custom payment app approval process work?

Hi there! Are there any Shopify Plus Merchant Success Managers here who have approved custom apps? Or any Plus Merchants who have requested to install custom apps from their MSM? We're currently building a custom payments app and are trying to understand what the approval process looks like and how long it could potentially take. Thank you!
