How long does the Shopify app review process take?

Hi guys! I have a question: 

 How long does it usually take to pass the "Shopify App review process" I have heard that it may take months to pass it? Is it true?

Thank you for your question.

It really depends on the number of apps currently in the review process. You would expect 2-3 weeks but it may take more depending on the queue.
