How to add a chargeable personalization option across all variants in a collection?

Hi Community.

First time here so here goes.....struggling to find an App that will do what I need.

We sell clothing.  I have a customer who has bespoke items assigned to their bespoke collection on our site with 5 or 6 size/colour variants for each product. Customers buying these items may choose to have them branded with player initials at the time of purchase.  But I need to be able to apply the option to all products in the collection and across all variants and to add a charge for that service.

I have found options that allow charging but for some reason don't allow me to change what I want {EZ Options}, only what the app wants.  I have found options that allows you to apply the format to each variant at a time, but not across a selected range.  I have found options that "override" our format displayed which we don't want.

It is quite simple in theory:  Choose your product - Choose branding if desired.  Provide 2 initials and add that bit to your purchase then place the bespoke item in your basket.  But I am struggling.  Shopify Support have tried to help with suggested APPS and links but to no avail.

So I am coming to the guys at the sharp end in the forlorn hope that someone somewhere has had the same needs and has resolved them.

A simple version of Moonpig @EFOLI-Emilia7 is an example.  Personalisation of product but with a charge.  I may have found a solution from BSS though.  Just ploughing through it.
