App reviews, troubleshooting, and recommendations
Hi there,
I am struggling with something.
I have more than 3 options on most of my products... I already created the right options for each product with the app "Bold product options". But once I try to use options and place into cart, there is a failure, the options don't apply, and the cart doesn't appear. I have an error message instead..
Do you know how I can link the bold product options to real variants (more than 100 variants per product)
Below the message error:

Hello @Maeva_Totem_, Have you got the solution? As you want to add more than 3 options for your product then it can try the Inkybay app.
The Inkybay app offers the “Product Options” feature. With this feature, you can add as many options as you want. It can be more than 100 options. You can display those options in drop-down, radio, swatch, and check box. For the swatch images, it’ll also preview on the product page. It’s possible to assign the price to each option and the price will be added to the base price when any option is selected by the customer. The information of all options will be available on the order files also. You can get the order files through the app in four different formats PNG, JPG, PDF, and SVG.
This app provides great customer support and they provide services in many ways like live chat, email, ticket, and live meetings also.
You’ll get 21 days of free trial for going through all the customization features. Here is the Demo Product.

Hi @EFOLI-Emilia7, thank you for you answer. It seems that this app is particularly made for clothes if I am right. However, the products I sell on the website are objects, not clothes. I am not sure if this app is suitable for the kind of specific product I sell.. Do you know if there is another app that would allow me to have more options for my type of products?
Hello @Maeva_Totem_,
Thanks for your response. May I know what types of products you're selling in your store? Unfortunately, I'm not aware of any alternative apps but you can reach out to the support team of the Inkybay app. If you share how you set up the options, they may help you out. The app works well for different types of products.
Thank you
Hi @Maeva_Totem_,
I would like to understand your reasons for linking the custom options generated by the third-party app to your real variants. It's important to note that you can create options and variants using the app without the need for direct linkage to your product variants.
The issue you encountered with adding custom options to the cart may be specific to the Bold Product Options app, rather than a consequence of lacking a link with your variants.
To address this, I recommend considering an alternative app called Easify Product Options. This app provides a robust solution that allows you to create custom options and variants for all types of online stores effortlessly.
What's more, Easify Product Options offers 20 pre-designed option templates tailored for various online stores, making the setup process faster and easier. You can even explore the demos of these templates to see how they suit your needs.
