App reviews, troubleshooting, and recommendations
I have a question that seems trivial but I am not sure what the best route would be.
I am building a shopify app that is customer facing as well as admin facing, so it will take form data from the logged in customer, send that data to the database, and also show some of that data to the customer on their customer account page.
It seems like it should be a rather simple thing to do, but there are 3 or 4 different parts working together and it is kinda confusing me a little bit.
Should I collect the logged in user information inside the theme-app-extensions .liquid files from the {{customer}} objects such as {{customer.email}} then send that information to the database with the rest of the form data and possibly store some of the database data in customer metafields for showing it on the customer account page or is there a better way of doing this?
