How to best name CSS classes for proxy page elements?

What is the best practice for naming CSS classes for elements on the proxy page? Should some generic pre-defined class names be used so we could be sure that elements inherit styles from shop themes or we could use whatever class names we want?

I'm asking because we used generic "radio" class for a radio button container and apparently some theme uses the same class to hide radio buttons, so they are not showing on our proxy page with that theme.
