How to calc amount until free shipping

Hi, I have free shipping from 150 euro onwards. I want to add a section  or some code on the cart page that shows how many euros the current order is away from the 150 euro amount. How do I do this and where do I put it?

Additionally now all customers will order in Euros, so I need to know the equivalent euro amount of whatever currency the customer orders in.
