How to control products for Google Shopping

Does anyone know how to select only certain products for the Google Shopping app. I don't want all of them to show up, only certain ones but it seems to want to push all of them to go live.

Any tips?

Sure! Although the Google Shopping app automatically publishes your visible products to your Google Merchant Center, if you prefer to choose which products to publish, you can sync a single collection manually instead. This can be chosen from the product selection dropdown within the app settings.

Hey, Elizabeth!

I'm afraid not specifically. Though a workaround in this case could be to perhaps create an automated, hidden collection.

This way you could push certain products into this hidden collection, based on their vendor. Then select this collection only from the dropdown within the Google Shopping app.

The support answer (from Shopify Staff) is back from 2017 and the solution doesn't apply now unfortunately. Does anyone know how to select only certain products for the Google Shopping app so not all of them show up in Google shopping?
