How to create an external store using an app?

Hello Everyone,

I recently came across an amazing app that allows users to create a Shopify store within a few minutes. The user only needs to provide a name and email, and in return, they receive login credentials for the store.

I am puzzled about how to achieve this functionality, as the existing documentation does not provide any API that allows for the creation of a store externally, nor does the partner API contain anything similar.

If anyone among you has any information about this, please let me know. That would be a great help.

I don't know for sure, but if I had to take a guess, it's probably just a contact form on that page, and then they have someone (or multiple people) online monitoring the submissions, and then they just create a development store for the person and then send them the logins. 

This is super sketchy, and not what the development stores were meant for. They'll probably get in trouble for doing this, as they're not actually offering any kind of service to the merchant -- they're just taking advantage of the development store payouts (and most likely selling the data they get from the signups).
