How to encourage customers to share purchases on social media for a free gift?

After purchase, I want to prompt the customer to share us on Facebook/Twitter. If they do, I want to give them a free gift (ideally, add it to their existing order, but I'd also accept giving them a promo code that they can use to place a subsequent order). I haven't been able to find an app that does this. Anyone know one?

There are a few different apps in the Shopify App Store that offer customer rewards and free gifts for social sharing, such as: 

• Social Share Buttons and Popup
• RewardReach:Social Coupon
• Social Boost Giveaways Contest

However, it's important to note that these are all third-party apps, developed by teams who are external to Shopify. With this in mind, if you have any questions about using these apps, or the potential charges associated, please reach out to the app developers directly for more help. You can do this by following these steps.
