How to estimate shipping price from API?

I'm working on integrating with a store on shopify by building a partner "app".

My website aggregates products and their shipping price to a zip code. So to properly integrate with a shopify store, I need to access products and their shipping cost to a particular zip code. Is there a way to do that with the API?

You can show the shipping fee for a specific zip code by using Ajax api

If you have a good understanding about liquid and js. I think it will be easy to implement by adding custom code in your theme without using an partner app.
