App reviews, troubleshooting, and recommendations
Hi!
Has anyone figured out how to get Flow to send a "daily report" of inventory. We have it turned on right now, to track inventory quantity changes, but it sends us like 50 emails. I would like to receive one email at the end of everyday, or at the beginning of the day, with a list of products that have less than 48 in stock.
I have tried the "scheduled to run..." trigger and multiple other things, but can not seem to find one that will only send one email with all products.
Thanks!
I had the same experience as you.
You can try Stockbot; as you can set it up to send daily emails with a list of products that have low stock levels.
With this app properly setup, you will receive only 1 email per day with a list of products that have low stock levels. I hope this helps!

Hey there @SHFWS,
If you're open to using an alternative app, our EZ Exporter app can email you a custom CSV/Excel inventory report as an attachment on a daily schedule.
You can set a custom filter to only include products/variants where the available quantity is less than 48 and they will all be combined in a single CSV or Excel file.
Hello @SHFWS ,
Report Pundit offers several options to manage inventory reports.
You can schedule the report to run at specific times, choose where to receive the report, and receive a single report at the end of each day.
Additionally, you can use a filter to customize the report and view products that have less than 48 items in stock.
Thanks!
I set up a flow that does pretty much this (mine was a weekly email with separate lists for <=8 and 0 stock items):
@lpscleay I'm trying to do this same thing, but filter out for certain SKUs. The flow will basically give a daily inventory report on a couple items but I can't get it working. The Flow statement is {% if variants_item.sku ==100060 %}, but I don't think I've set the get product data query correctly to pull the right data, sku:100060 isn't working. Any ideas?
I'm no expert on the API, but it seems that 'sku' should work in the 'Get product data' Edit query field:
sku:100060 AND inventory_total:<=8
You shouldn't need to use SKU in the email step because it's already been filtered by SKU in the query (I only use inventoryQuantity in the email to separate into 2 lists).
