How to integrate a dropshipper's data feed with minimal technical knowledge?

Hi,

I am working with an old school dropshipper that doesn't directly integrate with Shopify. I don't have much technical knowledge but I would like to see how it would be possible to integrate using available data.

What they offer is: a 'data feed' that is a .txt file that apparently when downloaded includes product images and other information I need to customize my store.

However when I download it, it doesn't appear as anything except text...

Additionally:

The data feed needs to be updated daily to reflect up to date inventory levels.

I have no idea how to work with this. But alas, hopefully a very smart person here can suggest an app, or a solution, preferably free as I do not have much $$ to dedicate to this particular aspect.
