How to integrate email sign-up form function with subscription together

hi,

I have set up email sign-up form pop-up in Klayvio for first purchase discount (picture1) and email subscription at footer in my shopify store connection with my Klayvio sign up form ID. (Picture 2)

I was thinking to use those customer who submit sign-up form as subscriber to my website so that I can send new product launch or any promotion in the future.

However, I still see those customers are categorized as non-subscriber in my shopify store (picture 3)

 Do i miss understand anything or setup wrongly?
