How to make product recommendation app photos clickable?

Hey guys, the search and product recommendations app is working really nice, and its amazing to be free 🤍🙏

even though i think most store owners who use the app can relate that, the photos inside the section are not clickable is a big conversation rate downgrade.

is anyone managed to fix it ?

Avoid non-specifics when seeking features be explicit in the actions your seeking.

Making an image "clickable" means many things, add-to-cart, open the image in a gallery or navigate to that product page, etc etc

If a UI feature comes exclusively from an app block you cannot customize it.

However if the app uses built in theme code then you need a theme customization.

This varies wildly by app and theme.

Get apps that pay for themselves

If you need feature X find another app with feature X.

Shopifys free apps are introductory for basic needs, or as marketing bullet point.

If an app lacks a subfeature you think you need then either you've probably outgrown the apps limited feature set and need a better app, or submit a feature request to the apps developer but that is not something to hold your breath for if your trying to improve revenue now.

Hey Paul, you are right I wasn’t specific enough :), i ment the photos to redirect to their product page, we dont have even a clear call to action button option. Its a text.

and again im so grateful with what i have, just asking incase i was missing something 🤍 

couldn’t even find where the app’s cose is located in the edit code 🧑‍💻 section 😅

If you've checked the code on the frontend using view-source then dug through the template code and not found anything most likely the apps code is coming exclusively from the app-block so is NOT editable.

In some themes you may find references to complementary products but this is normally only for translations or styles.

If your code savvy you can replace such app blocks with the .dev implementation code modifying it to need.
