App reviews, troubleshooting, and recommendations
Hi all,
This has me stumped a bit
I'm using a 3rd party domain name to connect to shopify, have set up the 2 DNS records in my provider Crazy Domains as shown in the attached pic,
When I try to verify the connection in my store it tells me the A record is wrong
Has anyone experienced this before

It's possible that there may be a delay in the DNS propagation process, which can take anywhere from a few minutes to up to 48 hours to complete. During this time, your DNS records may not be fully updated or recognized by Shopify, which could cause issues when verifying the connection.
If you've already set up the correct DNS records in your Crazy Domains account, you may need to wait a bit longer for the changes to fully propagate. You can check the status of your DNS records using a tool like DNS Checker to ensure they've propagated correctly.
If you've already waited for the DNS propagation to complete and are still experiencing issues, you may want to double-check the A record you've set up to ensure it's pointing to the correct IP address for your Shopify store. You can find the IP address for your store by going to your Shopify admin dashboard, clicking on Online Store > Domains, and looking for the IP address listed under your domain name.
If you're still having trouble, you may want to contact Shopify's support team for further assistance in troubleshooting the issue.
