How to set dynamic wholesale pricing based on profit margins?

Hi everyone. I am in search of an app or solution that would allow me to offer wholesale pricing to specific customers, based on the profit percentage I have on each product. We have tried some of the apps out there, but they all set wholesale pricing as a percentage off retail or a fixed price. We have many products and the pricing and profit margin is constantly changing, so ideally i would have it as a set formula so when prices change, the wholesale price changes with it.
Example: My cost= $60. Retail= $100. Wholesale price= 1/2 of profit % making the wholesale cost $80.
Now say my cost goes to $80 and retail goes to $130. A formula figuring 1/2 of profit % would automatically make the wholesale cost $105.
With the constant changing of pricing from vendors and the large quantity of products we have, something automated like that is what we're ideally looking for. Has anyone found a solution like that?

Hi and thanks for the reply. This is not dropshipping as all the products we have are in stock. Also we have close to 2000 products which is why its been hard to manage with the wholesale apps i have found.

Your requirement for a wholesale pricing is too specific to be covered by a ready Shopify app. But please do not consider it very complex. An experienced Shopify development company can easily develop a custom app for you to meet these needs. An app will use the formula you provided and will dynamically generate wholesale pricing for each product.
