How to set up Klaviyo notifications for add to cart events in Shopify?

i am trying to set up my shopify to where when someone adds something to there cart it notifies me in klayviyo, i was able to get it to notify me when someone viewed the product but not when it's added to cart.

i did past the liquid code into default products but that doesn't seem to be working and i can not find the product liquid code area in dawn theme to edit the code there.
