How to show estimated delivery date based on customer location?

Hello, I am looking for an app or a solution to display to customers a delivery date based on their location.

We have five warehouses spread throughout the United States, and I want customers to get an estimated delivery date based on their location. As an example, if a customer lives in New York and they want to purchase an item that is stored in a Texas warehouse, it should display get it within five business days; however, if the item is in our New York location, it should display order today to get it by tomorrow, etc. 

I looked through the app store, and I could not find an app that will 1) provide delivery dates based on states in the United States (Most display by country) 2) That will work with Shopify locations to pull inventory data based on location.

No, I have not found an app-based solution yet.  For now I hard-coded it into my own website. Working on having this feature as a public app soon.

I would like to suggest our Order Delivery Date app that offers the same features you are looking for. With the "Store Pickup and Local Delivery" add-on in our app, you can add multiple locations and customize the delivery date as well as time for each location.

I am not looking to give the options to choose a delivery date, rather I am looking for something that will display to a customer on the product page when they can expect their order based on their location. This app does not seem to do this.

With this app, you will be able to create multiple locations and for each location, use postcode validation or distance validation. Based on the address that the customer enters at the cart page, our widget will then assign a location.

In terms of dates, each location can be configured to include preparation time. For example, if your Texas Warehouse items require 5 days for preparation time, the earliest date a customer would be able to select for delivery will be 5 days down the road!

I suggest to you Delivery Date Manager which perfectly fulfills your requirement, location & inventory. Delivery date manager is also compatible with zipcode validator so you can check the place where delivery is available and also check the product stock for that particular place.

Show your customers the estimated delivery time or day while entering the pin code in AppJetty Zip Code Validator. Increase your chance of having more customers by showing them the correct time and days it will take to deliver the product.
