How to stop Facebook app from generating Shopify coupons?

Our FB&IG sales channel app setting is:

Collect emails with a discount

Off

Encourage email subscribers by offering a discount on your shops.

However the app keeps generating codes by dozens daily. 

I don't know what other information to provide.

Sounds like your Facebook & Instagram sales channel is automatically generating discount codes despite your settings. Here are a few things to review and try:

1. Review Discount Settings → Shopify Admin > Discounts and check if there's an automation rule linked to Facebook. Disable any that you don’t need.
2. Disconnect & Reconnect Facebook App → Sometimes, a settings refresh is needed. Try removing the app and reinstalling it to reset any unintended configurations.
3. Check Meta Commerce Manager → Log into Meta Commerce Manager > Settings > Promotions to see if there’s an active discount automation running from Facebook’s side.
