Hello, sure!
I have 3 stores, each for a different market and currency. But they have the same inventory. So, the whole inventory is common for them and synced .
Now, I want to run a preorder for an item, which I will physically have in a limited quantity, let's say 1000 items.
All of my stores will run the preorder for that item. And when store A sells 200 , only 800 more will be available for A,B and C stores. So, there must be in fact one pre order stock for all of the stores

Alright, got it. there are apps available for inventory sync I don't think such app for your use case is available yet as I have checked. But this is achievable with a custom app that will check for the actual quantity of the product before placing any order from any of the store. You can take help from a developer to make one for you its pretty easy. or lemme know if I can help you with it.

Cheers!

Hi @manticore776,

In this case, you can create a virtual warehouse containing preorder products only, which should be chosen when creating a cart. This feature is supported by ConnectPOS, one of the leading POS providers for Shopify retailers. During the fulfillment process, you can:
1, Transfer inventory from the actual warehouse to the virtual warehouse
2, Fulfill directly from the actual warehouse so you can see the number of preorder products.
If this solution seems a little bit tricky, you can try it this way. First, divide your product quantity into 2 parts: available quantity (sum) and salable quantity (actual inventory for sale). If the qty < 0, it may mean that the available quantity is 1 but your customer wants to preorder 2 products, so the salable quantity will be -1.

If you still want to know more about this, you can contact our support team.
