How to tag Abound product orders before pushing to POS?

Is there a way to add a tag to Abound product orders before pushing them to Shopify?  Or set a default so the pushed products are "draft" instead of "active"?
After I add products to Shopify I need to create barcodes, label the products, and add the products to our Mangomint POS before setting them as active in Shopify.
I've already reached out to Abound regarding this issue and they refered me to Shopify.
