How to use synonyms in Search & Discovery to return Pages

We have site search through Search & Discovery, and the synonyms feature works well. But we are seeing some searches with no results that have clear intended destinations (e.g. returns, customer service, etc.), but they show zero results, and in the S&D report, it says that is not a "page query". How do we tell the app that "returns" should be looking at /pages/ (or blog posts for that matter), not just product pages?

I've already verified that Pages are checked in the app Settings Search Results and Predictive Search Results, and the Returns page itself is published and visible. I would love to be able to have direct links for specific searches so they don't even bother showing a search results page, but would be satisfied with at least showing the intended page in the results.
