I can't verify my phone number on Google Merchant Center?

I have this problem setting up the Google account in my Shopify store after I set up my Google merchant center it doesn't allow me to check my phone number!

Although I tried to verify my phone number natively in Google Merchant Center, not with a 3rd party.
I am always getting the message: An error occurred. Please try again later ( from Shopify)
We couldn't start verification for your phone. Enter a different number ( from Google merchant )

Do you have Google voice or a Google Fi phone number?

I dont have a Google Fi phone number.
Is Google Voice an app that I can activate from my mail?
