Hi,

I'm looking for an app/plugin that may or may not exist, it should be able to create a collection comprised of items that have recently be ordered by the customer. This collection will only be visible to that specific logged in user preferably.

I've dug around on the net and haven't found anything that would be sufficient enough.

Thanks in advance.

This should be possible to do without an APP, just some Liquid logic.

Once the customer is logged in you have access to the Liquid customer object. This object contains the orders: https://shopify.dev/docs/themes/liquid/reference/objects/customer#customer-orders

The order object contain the order.line_items and this is what you are looking for.

I am not sure if there is anything like this available or as open source. If not, a developer will be able to set this up for you.

Check this out, this is totally new app.
Currently it shows only recently viewed products on any page as a stick menu (Personalized UX) but we have been thinking creating many menus/collections (according to our merchants needs and requests) such as recommended products, best sellers etc. And recently ordered (or recommended according to recently order/viewed) seems like it has some potential as well.
I'd like to know what you think about this app and possible future implementation of this idea.
You can reach out to us via email on the app listing or directly forum PM.

Hi there,

I am also looking for an app that would display a feed of recently ordered products. Like Shopify already does with displaying a feed / carousel of the collections.

This is for all orders from all customers. I guess the display can be sorted in terms of which ones are more popular for having the most sales.
