App reviews, troubleshooting, and recommendations
Hi,
I need the read_all_orders permission for 1 of my custom apps, I have seen this on https://shopify.dev/docs/api/usage/access-scopes
By default, you have access to the last 60 days' worth of orders for a store. To access all the orders, you need to request access to the read_all_orders scope from the user:
If Shopify approves your request, then you can add the read_all_orders scope to your app along with read_orders or write_orders.
but it is not very clear because I don't see any "Access requests section" nor a "Read all orders scope card", I am the dev of the app so I don't understand why I can't see it. Can someone help me on this pls?
Why does it have to be so hard to ask for a permission like this?

Hi, I was asking for a custom app on a store, but anyway I asked shopify to give the access to my app and they did it.
Thanks for the answer.

The contents of order data is something to be taken seriously so opening up _everything_ should require some hoops to jump through.
The instructions you've posted are correct. So a couple of clicks really. What step are you getting stuck on - post a screenshot if possible.
