In search of App that generates good Reports on what is being Pre Ordered

I am in search of an app that will allow me to create pre-order reports. I need an app that not only facilitates the pre-order but is also very good in providing data on what is being ordered.  I have a footwear shop that has different styles and sizes.  I want to be able to quickly analyze my pre-orders by style and by size.

What kind of sales reports are you able to generate using the app that you chose for pre-orders?  Which apps allow customers to be updated on their order status?
