A customer just asked me for a transcript of our chat. I thought it would be easy - I've been using Inbox since it was available and this is the first time a customer has asked for a transcript. Is there a simple way to do this?
I would like to know this as well. This seems to be a lacking feature that some customers find important.

Yes I'd like to know the solution to this as well. Can tech support please provide an indication as to when this will be responded to or resolved ? This ticket has been opened for nearly 1 year now.
