App reviews, troubleshooting, and recommendations
Hi hi!
Have been in the process of setting up IG as a sales channel, and everyhing appears to be set up properly - but when I go to my Instagram on my phone, it doesn't show any store section or show any of the few products I have set up.
Help me please !!! ❤️
Hi, @leaving.
Welcome to the Shopify Community and thanks for sharing your question here.
You mentioned you've set up everything to enable Instagram Shopping however, you're not seeing your products or a store section on Instagram.
To gain more insight, could you check within your Shopify admin > Facebook Sales Channel section for any error messages? If there are error messages present, please share a screenshot of it here.
When setting up the Facebook Sales Channel and enabling Instagram Shop, were you able to follow the steps listed in our Setting up Instagram Shopping? In order for your shop to be fully setup, you'll need to enable the following:
Lastly, did you know you can include your Facebook, Instagram and other social platform links in the footer section of your store? This can help drive traffic to your other social platforms and increase brand visibility.
How to add social links to your storefront footer section:
Please let us know if you were able to follow these steps. I look forward to learning more to have this resolved.

I have the same problem. Everything is approved on Shopify, no errors, and Instagram is not showing neither my inventory nor my collections. The error on Instagram says "content not available - this content cannot be seen in this region". This seems strange as our shop is in Spain and I am trying to see my inventory from France.
I am also having the same issue.
I have no errors.
Some days the product tagging works, but most days it does not.
I have had my Shopify account connected to Instagram & Facebook for years.
Product tagging works from my desktop if I post to Facebook so it has to be an issue with the connection to Instagram app.
It seems that many comments below show that the problem is still showing. I'm experiencing the same. Please reply with a solution. Thank you
I’m sorry that you’re going through this as well. I’m a week behind you here and I have tried everything I know how to do. Did you ever find a solution?
When I go to tag products, only one of my items pops up and is available for tagging. If I do use that tag, it can still link back to my Instagram/Facebook shop where I can see all of my products so I don’t understand why only one showing up whenever I try to tag product in an Instagram post.
Its almost 2024, I got exactly tha same problem. No errors, everything is linked and approved but there is no shop button available on Instagram nor FB. Seems like no one really cares here.
I have the exact same problem. Everything is set up and verified. I can see instagram shop on commerce manager as well but I can't see the shop on instagram app
Funny thing is I can add my shop collections using shopping sticker in stories but I can't add single products. That list looks empty
I am having the same issue - meta sales channel is all set up and all products are linked and synced. Product catalogue shows no errors and able to view all products, but when i go to tag a product from my store on instagram, none of my products are showing. so frustrating!!!
Hi did you manage to sort this? im having the exact same problem, everything set up in meta business but its like my shop doesn't exist on instagram or facebook?
I am doing this now, I have added collections to my online instagram store, and items from the collection are missing. All of my products are approved.
