Internal Shopify 2-way communication possible?

Hello,

 

Does anybody know what would be the best method or app to allow members that login to my shopify store have the ability to message me and upload files (and me to them)? It would be great if the message history saves, and multiple threads can be opened up between me and the customer.

There are actually loads of app options for you that you can integrate into your store that allow you to chat with your customers. We actually have one that Shopify has built called 'Shopify Inbox'! This app lets you chat with folks in real-time, and also will let you know when customers are reaching out when you're unable to live chat. You're able to send files, like images, via these chats, as well! On top of that, there is a record kept of these conversations, so you can re-visit them whenever you need to. This app is supported by an awesome team, and updates are made frequently to continue to improve it's functionality. You can try it for free, and see if it's a good fit!

 

Additionally, there are lots of third party apps that you can consider for testing out, too! I have a link here that leads to a page filled with potential live-chat options that should let you transfer files. You can feel good giving any of these apps a try, to see if they're a good match for what you're looking for.
