Is Documenting My Journey of Building my App a Good Idea?

Hey I’m Axel,

Starting in 2020, I spent three years following TikTok gurus and struggling with dropshipping. Having learned from my mistakes, I decided to pivot. Despite the challenges, I had learned a lot about e-commerce, especially about the easy traps and parts of the business where it was easy to get stuck. This led me to create PlusSales, a free Shopify app designed to help merchants optimize their stores and increase conversion rates.

Now, I’m considering documenting and talking about my company and journey consistently as a way to get advice and feedback and as a side bonus promote PlusSales. Do you think this is a good idea? Would people care about following this journey?

I’ve seen others share their stories and get great feedback, but I’m unsure if it would work for me. Any advice or thoughts?

Plus, if you’re interested, check out PlusSales at https://www.plussales.co/

Has anyone done anything similar? Would love to hear your thoughts on this.

Documenting your journey building a SaaS company is a great way to attract other developers, but a poor way to attract potential customers.

I am also curious, currently I made my own website plussales.co and am upgrading and reinforcing the SEO both in and out of the website, mainly concentrating on creating a large network of SM and news and blog website that all promote not the app listing but the website instead, tell me what you think
