Is it valid to use Block App for DOM manipulation on Shopify?

Hey everyone, good to be in this community 🙂

I have some case that I building an inline app (block app) that the client can insert in specific page between elements,

When the block app enabled and inserted for example in product page, the extension will show some button.
Now by clicking on the button I doing some DOM manipulation and create chldren elements in the body

I wanna know if this case is valid by Shopify for Block App or should I do it with Embed Block App
