We can only find it for SaaS at the moment, not on-premise. Is this correct or...?
Correct, there is no "standalone version" of Shopify. It is a service.
No idea what you are talking about. I am referring to this: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365-release-plan/2022wave1/smb/dynamics365-business-centra...
"This feature is available only for the online version of Business Central. It isn't available for on-premises versions."
I was simply wondering if that information is still accurate.
Ah I thought you were asking if Shopify is SaaS or on-premise. I’m saying it’s very much a SaaS. No idea about the Microsoft product, might be better to ask in related Microsoft forums.
Wondering if you found an answer to this??
We had meeting yesterday with a certified Shopify partner and the conclusion is that we need to lift it to the cloud. I got the impression that it might be possible with an on-premise solution, but it would require some tinkering between the shopify partner and our BC parter i.e. a custom solution. It will probably make it more expensive in the long run.
I think we will move it to the cloud and scale down as many function in BC as possible (we detest BC) and move them to Shopify.

I will use other e-commerce platforms. Already have a connector for Odoo...
