Is Trekkie App still relevant/active?

Hi Gurus,

My client's site has Trekkie app references for their Facebook Pixel, however the app is not listed in thier included/loaded apps, nor can I find the app in any marketplace.

Is this app still working, or has it been deleted from Shopify's list of apps?

When viewing the theme preferences, Shopify provides an alert to set up the Facebook Pixel. (screenshot)

If the app is still relevant, why would it not be in the list of apps available/loaded for the client site?

Why would one use the Trekkie app over the option included in the preferences of the theme?

Any assistance would be great – as I am still a bit new to Shopify.
