Hello,
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to request assistance with an issue I am experiencing with Shopify's support. I have developed an application that utilizes the User Charge API (https://shopify.dev/docs/api/admin-rest/2023-10/resources/usagecharge) to charge customers for using my application. On the application's side, once a month, I check the number of orders a user has in their store, and based on that, I calculate the subscription cost for the current month. I only send one request to the User Charge API.
However, it appears that Shopify is charging the customer twice for the same amount at the same time. This issue results in two identical payments being processed simultaneously for the customer on my app's store page. I'm unable to determine why this is happening and why there are two charges instead of one. I am seeking assistance from Shopify's support team to resolve this matter.
