Launching social media link (facebook and instagram) to a new browser tab

Hi, can someone please help me with a way to be able to launch links to social media so that it opens on a new page rather than same window as my website.

I'm not a super technical person so appreciate any code snipets and advise on where to add/how would be greatly appreciated!

Could you let me know which theme you're using? Some themes have an option to send links to a new tab.
