Link products to old business facebook page

Hi, 

I have setup a new shopify store. I would like to link my products to an old facebook business page.

A few years ago i was selling under a different website, that site is no longer active, but i would like to use the facebook page that was linked to that old site so i dont have to start from 0 with followers etc. 

The problem is my new shopify store wont link that products to the old page. I keep getting the error 

'This business is not the same as the existing catalogs owning business.'

I have changed the emails and web address of the old page and deleted the old sites catalogue but nothing is fixing it. 

Is there a way to link a new shopify store to an old facebook business page? Or do i have to admit defeat and start all over again!?

You need to use the Facebook & Instagram app to link your Shopify products to your Facebook page.

1. First you need to install the Facebook & Instagram app within your Shopify admin (Go to the Shopify App Store - Type "Facebook & Instagram App" in The Search Box and something like this would show up. 
2. Hit INSTALL and then connect your Facebook account.

This allows you to sync your Shopify product catalog with Facebook, enabling you to display your products on your Facebook Page's Shop section and use them in your posts I hope this helps!

Yes I have done all of that but that is when I receive the error : 'This business is not the same as the existing catalogs owning business.'
