Local Delivery: Restrict to manual orders

Does anyone know of a method to restrict local delivery (using Shopify’s Local Delivery app) to manual orders only? We would be happy with a possibility to add a new delivery method that just says “local delivery” on the packing slip; no need for more features.

(There is a related question here. Maybe there is a solution that works for both?)
