Location/Maps text box on product page

Dear All,

My Shop supplies other Businesses with my product.

Thats why I need to gather the business locations from my customers.

I've seen text boxes, which seem to work with google maps where the customer can type in their business and select it from the dropdown list (provided from google?).

Does anyone know which app can integrate this to my product page?

Yours sincerely,

Nicolas

Hi @Nicolas41 , you could try and use the app like Wayfinder , it allows your customers to pin drop a delivery location in a Google Maps, you can then obtain that location as a link to a google maps, in addition to their GPS coordinates in your order details after they have made the purchase. Also, the google map that the app embeds in your site has a search bar, so your customers could type their address and select the suggested Google Maps address from the dropdown.
Steps

1. Obtain a Google Cloud API Key, this is an external process you have to do in order to make the app work with google maps. The app will ask for this key in the setup settings. They have a pdf guide to show you how to obtain it.
2. The app settings for the map are inside the theme editor as a block, you you can place it wherever you want, could be the product page, however I recommend using the cart page since it is the natural step prior to checkout and because the app saves 1 delivery location per order, not per item.
3. You can customize the look and style of the map in the block settings in the theme editor.
4. There you go, once your customers select their locations they will be stored and you can see them in their order details once they have placed their orders as a note.
