logging into shopify account from android

I cannot seem to get into my shopify account from my phone whether it is an app or browser. It just keeps redirecting me to create shopify ID, But I already have one, When I click log in, it happens again, It is really frustrating, because I have some workt to do on my phone on the go, but I cannot do that, because it keeps asking me to create new idea and new account. I do not know how to fix it. This is when I try to log in with e-mail.

I can see you are having some problems accessing your store on your mobile device - I'd be happy to help you troubleshoot this. Welcome to the Shopify Community by the way! I can see this is your first post, you are welcome here.


You mentioned that you cannot get into your Shopify account from your phone, regardless of whether or not you use the Shopify app or a web browser, and that you are trying to log in with your email - can you confirm if those same login details work on a computer with a web browser such as Google Chrome?


Has your mobile device allowed you to log in previously, and has recently stopped working? There's a few troubleshooting steps that you can try, perhaps they will resolve this issue for you:


  • Make sure that the phone firmware, the web browser app, and also the Shopify app are all up to date. If they are not, go ahead and update everything and then try again.
  • Try uninstalling and reinstalling the Shopify app.
  • Clear the cache & cookies for your phone web browser - you can also try using a private browsing window such as a Google Chrome 'incognito' window.
  • Try using a different internet connection such as mobile data or a separate Wi-Fi connection to the one you are using now.
  • Double check that your device date & time are set correctly - this can sometimes cause strange issues with things such as web browsers.

Hi Rick, 
I'm facing the same issue on all applications (ECommerce, Inbox and POS). And I have tried all the steps you mentioned. However its not working, please let me know what else can be done.
