Looking for a comprehensive Facebook app implementation tutorial?

Hello.

Can anyone recommend a good tutorial which walks through the process of implementing the Facebook app? I don't own a Facebook account, so I would be starting from scratch. All of the tutorials I've seen talk about the basic installation of the app, but none go into the details of what is first required (personal FB account, FB business account, etc.) or how to set up whatever FB accounts are required.

Hello Moira,

Thank you for your reply. I did see that set of instructions, but what it doesn't tell me is what is needed on the Facebook side. That's really where I have questions. I don't have a personal FB account, nor do I want one. When I try to create a Business Page, it asks me to login, so I'm assuming Facebook is asking for a personal account login. It's just not clear. Ideally, I would simply like to create a business account, but I'm not sure whether or not that's an option.

Before you can start using the Facebook channel, you will indeed need to create a personal Facebook account in order to set up a Facebook Business Manager. This would also need to be connected to both your business's Facebook Page and an ad account that has an admin role for the Business Manager.

While a Facebook account is required to create a Facebook business page, you can avoid creating a personal profile all your friends can search for. To create a Facebook page without a personal Facebook account, you can create a new account on Facebook's homepage with your business email address instead.
