Looking for an app or solution to add multiple drop down menus on a product

I am looking for a solution to add multiple drop down menus for a product that comes with a bag. All the products and bags are pre made so each color/ pattern combo has a quantity that needs to be tracked. 

I would like two drop down menus so that customers can pick the combinations they prefer. I would have roughly 5 product color options and about 10 bag pattern options. You cannot buy the product on its own so the bag is a mandatory option. 

I need the inventory to be tracked and I would prefer the options to be unclickable when the quantity is zero. 

I am very new to this sort of thing so any help is appreciated!

You add the color and patterns as a variant.

1. Go to your admin store and click products.

2. Click on the product you want to edit. 

3. Add the option, color and patterns

The drop down depends on the theme you are using. Dawn theme have options for pills or dropdown.

Thank you for the help. My theme has the option to do variants but not drop downs or pills.  Is there a way to add that to my theme? 

Another question. If I change to the Dawn theme will it track the quantities for products and bags separately?

You got me curious on how the theme is showing variants.

The Dawn theme tracks the variant stocks if the product has a variant.

It looks like the Dawn theme is similar to the one I have now so I'll probably switch to it when I have some time.

Sorry. When I said Dawn theme, it means any of the Shopify 2.0 free themes. They all share the same code but different settings.

Hello @dullboyblades, Have you got the solution? If you want your customer to pick combinations as their preference then you can try the MultiVariants - Bulk order app.

You need to create a product in Shopify and create bags/items as variants that will be visible on the product page under the main product. So, all the items will display under the main product as variants. Add color variants from Shopify while creating the product. Customers can choose bag pattern options and color combinations from two dropdown menus. and there will be a quantity selector for each combination. 

With this app, you can set the minimum-maximum restrictions for variants, so your customer must choose a quantity from all the available variants before going to the cart page. Additionally, through this app, restrictions for minimum-maximum quantities, predefined bundles, interval quantities, limits on variants and orders can be achieved.
