App reviews, troubleshooting, and recommendations
Hi,
We sell a custom printed tshirt with names on the back.
Using a product option app to allow the customer to input the names they want. As this is a product aimed for teams with multiple people, it's tedious for the customer to select a size, enter the names, add to cart and then go back and repeat with a different size.
Tried using the multi variants app which allows bulk adding multiple variants to the cart, but then it skips the text box.
Is there an app or other way that will allow the customer to input custom text and multiple quantities of different sizes at the same time?
Hello @terrencechin
I think you have missed out the text-field feature MultiVariants offer. you don't need to use another app for the text field as you can enable a text field under each variant or a single input field for a product. you just have to enable the feature from the "Display Settings" from your MultiVariants admin panel.
for reference, you can check the following screenshot of a sample product from MultiVariant's demo store. Also, if you want, I can provide you the product link. Let me know.
Thanks Touhid, however I couldn't find this option in your app so reached out to chat support and they said it isn't possible to have a single text field for the product instead of each variant.
@terrencechin, she might have misunderstood or forgotten about the option we have. I apologize for that.
You can have one input field per product. If you ever think to reinstall the app, let me know. I will set it up for you.
Hi @terrencechin,
I have a suggestion for creating custom options using the Easify Product Options app. Here's a quick demo on how to set it up, assuming you want customers to select 10 shirts for a team 🤗:
The app is user-friendly with an intuitive live preview. I recommend trying it out to see if it meets your requirements.
If my suggestion doesn't fit somewhere, let me know, and I can propose a better solution 😊.
Thanks for your response, however it's all team members names, not a single name per shirt. Also, it might be 8 shirts per order or 20, not a set number. I'll attach a screenshot of what the product and product page currently looks like.
Hi @terrencechin,
Here's an alternative setup suggestion for the app 🤗:
Example: Configuring the Quantity Option for 3XS (Y10) Size:
Similarly you can create Quantity options for the remaining Sizes:
Let me know if you find this suggestion suitable for your needs 😊!
Thanks for your help, I will try this method.
