Looking for opinions on editing products in Printify prior to publishing to Shopify store?

Hello everyone,

Fairly new here, and my process is; I have been building my products in the Printify app, then publishing them to my store, then editing the descriptions/price/tags/pictures etc. in Shopify.

But wondering if this is going to come back as an issue in the future? Like yesterday I just happened to open a previous product in the printify app to look at a picture, and then when I closed it, it made me publish again, which then over-wrote all the changes I had made in Shopify to description etc..

Should I be doing all the editing in Printify first prior to publishing to my store?
