We're looking for an app that simply (ideally) creates & applies a discount to the whole order if certain products are in the cart.
We found an app that works great and does almost everything we want:
- You add Product A to the cart;
- It automatically adds Product B to the cart;
However, when it applies the discount, it applies it to the product, not to the cart. Due to a limitation with our client's logistics, they can't accept products with a price of zero; hence why we want to discount the whole order rather than the individual product; and the most straightforward way to do that is with an order-level discount code rather than a product-level discount.
We figured this would be super-simple to solve either with a Shopify app or a third-party one, but it's proving to be super-difficult. Does anyone have any recommendations? We don't want any additional UX or front-end clutter (e.g. popups, banners, checkout page upells etc.) - just add Product A, get Product B, get an order-level discount.
We can even cover the first 2 steps, so even if it's just 'If Product A & Product B are in the cart, create & apply a discount code', that would be great.
