Hi, we are looking for subscription app with specific features for our physical product.

1. free subscription offer for a month or two

  - customers will be charged after free trial ends. they can cancel subscription before that.

2. various discount rates by quantity per month

  - cheaper price if they subscribe for more quantity per month.

3. free subscription coupon

4. long term subscription discount (prepaid, cant cancel)

1 and 2 is mandatory, 3 and 4 is optional.

This is Herny from  Seal Subscriptions℠ & Loyalty. I would love to provide my recommendations for your store based on 2 and a half years of providing solutions for thousands of happy active Shopify merchants. 

1.) You can give customers the first order for free by creating a subscription rule where you set the initial discount to 100% and then set the rule to change the discount after the initial order to 0%. This can be configured in each subscription rule separately.

2.) You can give the customers a bigger discount when they buy more products with the Bundler - Product Bundles app https://apps.shopify.com/bundler-product-bundles. It is directly integrated with the Seal Subscriptions app.

3.) You can easily create a discount code for subscription products, which the customer can then apply in the checkout itself 🙂

4.) You can configure a specific discount directly in the subscription rule. You can even configure the rule to apply this discount only on prepaid subscriptions. And more, you can even give customers a loyalty discount on a specific renewal.

I think you would be helpful to our team. 

I run a one-product store with three different selling options. We offer the single pack, which includes just the tin case; the 5 pack, which includes the tin and a bulk bag; and the subscription pack, which consists of a tray with the product. The subscription pack cannot be sold separately but is meant to be obtained alongside the tin for refill purposes.

I'm struggling to find a solution for giving customers a free month of the subscription when they purchase the tin. I tried creating a 100% off coupon for the subscription when customers purchase the tin, but this doesn't enable me to automatically charge them the monthly cost of the subscription afterward. I'm looking for ideas or suggestions on how to address this issue.

If I understood you correctly, then you should be able to achieve this in combination with Bundler app (https://apps.shopify.com/bundler-product-bundles).
Within Bundler, you can simply create a bundle, where you give customers a discount when they buy the subscription with the tin.
And you can set the Bundler to only apply the discount on the initial order in Bundler > Settings > General Settings > Subscriptions (see screenshot).
