Looking to email a group of orders at once not all the orders

As the title explains, I want to send emails about delays to a certain amount of orders that are behind. Is there an app that allows me to select order numbers for a status email? I do not want to set up a status update page where the customer comes to find what their status is as we have to further manage which groups need a new status here and there. We just want to select about 100 orders, Write an email press send and do it all over again for a different set of 100 orders with a different toned email.
