App reviews, troubleshooting, and recommendations
Hi everyone !
I have a question, i'm using loox for the review on our shopify shop.
I see that everytime someone post a review it add a unique code only and is added to my discount page.
Is there a way to set up it differently?
My discount page is beginning to get full and it I find it weird, let's say I create code for a newsletter in Klavyio, he generate 600 one shot and only take one space in my discount page. It's not a big problem, but I was wondering if there was another way to set up the discounts integration?
Thanks

Hey @GabrielNoba, Sara from the Loox team here 🙂
It sounds like on Klaviyo, you're creating one discount code to use in a marketing campaign, instead of customer-specific unique codes. Since Loox generates a unique discount code for each customer, each one appears separately on your discount page.
However, if this is really important to you, you could change your Loox settings to create a single Shopify discount code instead of generating a one-time use code for each review. To achieve this, you can head into your Loox admin to Reviews > Collect Reviews > Discount for Photo/Video Reviews and select "Single Shopify Discount Code." That being said, it's important to note that there would be nothing to prevent customers from using this discount code multiple times, which is why we generally recommend selecting the other setting: "Auto-generate a one-time use code for each review."

Hi Gabriel,
This is up to the app developer.
Shopify has an API called `discountRedeemBulkCodeAdd` that apps can use to create multiple redeem codes for one discount, without having to clutter your discounts page.
https://shopify.dev/docs/api/admin-graphql/2024-04/mutations/discountRedeemCodeBulkAdd
Based on the information you've provided, it sounds like Klaviyo is using this API, but Loox isn't.
I would recommend reaching out to the Loox team, as only they have the power to change this.
Best,
Tobe

After talking with the Loox people, iv'e got to that conclusion too. I'll keep it like that for now. I don't want to give the same code to everyone !
Thanks for your time and help !
